FOCUS ON CHILDREN’S READING/LITERACY PROGRAMS

For the past three years, the Foundation has focused on funding programs, equipment and other resources for the children’s area. It is an opportunity to attract the youngest patrons and their families to the local public library where lifelong learning will be created at a very early age.

PROMOTE ARTS

The Foundation hosts an ANNUAL ART EXHIBIT AND RECEPTION for the students attending three elementary schools on the beach. The exhibit is a tribute, not only to the students, but to the dedicated art instructors at Breakfast Point Academy, Hutchison Beach Elementary and Patronis Elementary.

PROMOTE MUSIC

In response to requests from the library’s patrons, a music program for children will be funded by the Foundation. Reading, art and music for children just simply go together.
